Paul & Joe Vintage Inspired Lipstick Case

This is another pretty lipstick case from Paul & Joe. This one is made from plastic not like the other 3 that i have that are made with paper. It's pink and cream with some details in gold like the P & J logo on the top of the lid. It's really nice and classy looking and it also has a really nice vintage feeling. I bought mine from Beautybay.com for £6. Once you have your case all you need is to pick a pretty shade of lipstick refill to go in. The one i've picked for my case is shade 305 La Vie en Rose, a beautiful fucshia :)

Paul & Joe Lipstick Refills: 304 Rouge

Paul & Joe Lipstick Refills are designed for Paul & Joe's  Lipstick cases. There are 3 different finishes to choose from: sheer, natural or full coverage . They are enriched with Orange Flower Water and White Lily Extract for healthy, hydrated lips. They are super creamy, and it feels very nice when i have it on. This one is shade number 304 Rouge, it's a pretty red with a very nice red shimmer going through (like a very fine red microglitter, you can't feel it on your lips, but when the light hits on your lips WOW! Gorgeous! It's full coverage, it goes opaque with one application and it lasts about 4h! :). It's described as the truest red that absolutely oozes sex appeal. I bought mine from ASOS, the price is £12.

Existen 3 acabados diferentes para elegir: sheer (transparente/brillo), natural (media cobertura) o full coverage (máxima cobertura).Están enriquecids con agua de flor de naranja y extracto de lilium blanco para unos labios saludables e hidratados. Es super cremoso y es muy agradable de llevar. Este es el tono 304 Rouge, es un tono rojo muy bonito con destellos rojos (Como microglitter super fina, no la notas en los labios, pero cuando le da la luz Guau! Precioso!). Es de máxima cobertura y es descrito por Paul & Joe como el rojo más auténtico que grita sex appeal. El mio lo compré en ASOS y el precio fueron £12.Todas las fotos son con luz natural.

Paul & Joe Lipstick Refills are designed for Paul & Joe's  Lipstick cases. There are 3 different finishes to choose from: sheer, natural or full coverage .

This one is shade number 101 Secret d'Or, it gives a beautiful golden shine, you can wear it alone or on top of another lipstick to get a bit more dimension. It's sheer and it's described as a pretty touch of sheer golden shine. I bought mine from ASOS, the price is £12.

Paul & Joe Lipstick Refills are designed for Paul & Joe's  Lipstick cases. There are 3 different finishes to choose from: sheer, natural or full coverage . 

They are enriched with Orange Flower Water and White Lily Extract for healthy, hydrated lips, It's super creamy and it feels very nice when i have it on. This one is shade number 201 Potporri, it's a very nice nude color with a very natural finish. It's medium coverage and it's described as a natural sexy beige perfect for day and night. I bought mine from ASOS, the price is £12.

Paul & Joe Eyebrow Powder and Brush

This Eyebrow powder set by Paul & Joe contains a duo eyebrow powder compact and a little angle brush in its own pouch. The price is £15 and I bought mine from ASOS. There's 2 differents shades to choose from: light brown (light brown and olive brown) and medium brown (natural brown and charcoal grey). Mine is medium brown and it goes perfectly with my dark brown/black hair. The powder is not super pigmented which is perfect for me as i don't like to look as if i've literally painted my eyebrows, i think this powder is perfect if you just want to fill in your eyebrows in a very natural way. The packaging is also a plus, the peachy compact is super cute and with a vintage feeling.

Este Set de polvos para cejas de Paul & Joe contiene un duo de polvos para cejas y una pequeña brocha angulada que viene en su propia funda. El precio es de £15, y yo compré el mio en ASOS. Hay dos tonos diferentes para elegir: light brown (marrón claro y marrón oliva) o medium brown (marrón natural y Gris carbón). El mio es medium brown y va perfecto con mi pelo marrón oscuro/ negro. Los polvos no son super pigmentados, lo que para mi es ideal ya que no me gusta llevar cejas que parece que me las haya pintado literalmente.  Creo que estos polvos son perfectos si lo que quieres es rellenar y definir tus cejas de una forma natural. El packaging además es un plus, el compacto color melocotón es super mono y tiene un aire muy vintage.

Paul & Joe Lip lacquers

Paul & Joe Lip lacquers 

I bought this Paul & Joe Lip Lacquer trio a while ago from ASOS. Paul & Joe has two types of lip glosses: lip gloss (with a wand brush) and lip lacquers (squeeze tube). The shades in this trio are:

04 Tenderness: beige peachy 

05 Riviera: peachy pink 

08 Bouquet: raspberry

They have a very good pigmentation for a lip gloss and  a ok coverage, you do need though to keep reapplying every 2h ( you still have some of the glossyness after this but not color). The texture is a bit sticky & they have a bit of a fruity scent but nothing to strong. And the packaging is very cute.

My opinion, i would probable not buy any more shades of this product, if i want a nice lipgloss i prefer NARS and if i want a really opaque color like a lipstick but in a lipgloss i find Illamasqua Intense lipgloss is the best for this, these are my absolute favorites!. Paul & Joe Brillo de labios

Este set de Paul & Joe lo compre hace ya un tiempo en ASOS. Paul & Joe tiene dos tipos de brillo de labios: lip gloss (con aplicador pincel) and lip lacquers (tubito que se apreta). Los colores en este trío son:

04 Tenderness: beige melocotón

05 Riviera : melocotón rosado

08 Bouquet: frambuesa

Tienen una muy buena pigmentación para tratarse de brillos y cubren bastante bien, lo único que necesitas reaplicarlo cada 2h (después de este tiempo todavía queda brillo pero el color prácticamente desaparece). La textura es un poco pegajosa y tienen un olor como afrutado, pero casi imperceptible. El packaging es muy mono.

Mi opinión: probablemente no compre más colores de este producto, si quiero un brillo de labios bonito prefiero los de NARS, y si lo que realmente quiero es un color opaco como de pintalabios pero en brillo entonces Illamasqua Intense lipgloss es el mejor para esto, estos son mis absolutos favoritos!. Paul & Joe Carousel Collection: spring 2013

Paul & Joe new Carousel collection is so adorable, the prints, the packaging, the colors... Soo pretty! The thing that I was most excited about it in this collection was the limited edition lipstick cases!! I think it's a great idea to be able to costumize your lipstick. You choose your lipstick case, there's 3 to choose from in this collection: cats, elephants & shamrocks, and then you choose your lipstick refill, there's 3 new lipstick shades from this collection: Carousel (nude peach pink), Manege (pinky purple) and Merry-go-round (coral)-my favourite and the that I got. Lipstick cases are £5 and the lipstick refill is £12.

Merry-go-round lipstick has got a lightweight, pigmented and creamy texture, they have even printed a lovely horse on the actual lipstick bullet, absolutely beautiful! The color is a lovely coral( check the pictures!).

The lipstick cases have an all over contrast printed paper finish & they are design to protect and house the lipsticks apart from just looking beautiful! ;)

You can get this from ASOS and Beautybay, I got the cat lipstick case from beautybay because that one is  sold out in ASOS!

La colección de Paul & Joe Carousel es tan adorable!, Los estampados, el packaging, los colores... Tan precioso! Lo que más ganas tenía de tener de esta colección eran las fundas para pintalabios de edición limitada!!! Creo que es una idea genial que seas capaz de costumizar tu barra de labios. Eliges la funda, hay 3 para elegir en esta colección: gatos, elefantes y trevoles, y luego eliges que pintalabios quieres. En esta colección hay tres tonos nuevos: Carousel (carne albaricoque rosado), Manege (rosa morado) y Merry-go-round (coral)- este es mi favorito y el que he comprado. Las fundas valen £5 y los recambios de pintalabios valen £12.

La textura del pintalabios Merry-go-round es ligera, pigmentada y cremosa, además tiene un diseño de caballo precioso en la misma barra de labios. El color es un coral super bonito ( Mira las fotos!).

Las fundas de pintalabios tienen un acabado en papel de un estampado en contraste, y estam diseñadas para proteger y guardar tus pintalabios, no son sólo para hacer bonito! ;)

Puedes cromprar la colección en ASOS y Beautybay. Yo compré la funda de Los gatitos en beautyby porque en ASOS están agotadísimas!

This Paul & Joe make up set is exclusive to ASOS, includes a make bag, Paul & Joe hair &body mist and blotting paper. this set costs £15.

Este set de maquillaje de Paul & Joe es exclusivo de ASOS, incluye un neceser de maquillaje, Paul & Joe hair and body mist (spray para el pelo y para el cuerpo) y un paquetito de papel Matificante. El set cuesta £15.

The make up bag has a lovely flower design and nice colors for spring, the outside it has a rubbery feel and in the inside there is a small pocket. It's a very good size I can even fit my full size brushes in here :)

El neceser de maquillaje tiene un diseño floral precioso y la combinación de colores muy bonita para la primavera. Por fuera la tela está como plastificada, en la parte interior tiene un pequeño bolsiyo. El tamaño del neceser está muy bien puedo incluso guardar dentro mis brochas -las de tamaño normal no las de viaje ;)

Paul & Joe body and hair mist 60ml, "creates moist, glowing hair and refreshed skin. A fresh floral fragrance featuring notes of orange flower water with rose and wild musk scents for and invigorating sensation.The fine mist spray envelopes hair and skin with a cooling sensation and keeps them deliciously hydrated. Ingredients such as organic jojoba keep hair glossy, giving skin and hair smoothness and lustre". In my opinion this product is perfect to carry in your handbag, it has a beautiful smell & my skin feels fresher after spraying. My only cons are that 1) the smell doesn't really last long ( not even an hour!) you need to keep reapplying, then again it's not a perfum it's just a mist, and 2) it has alcohol in the ingredients list, so I won't use it on my hair + it would have been nice to be able to use it in summer for the beach , but of course with no alcohol!

Paul & Joe body and hair mist 60ml, "hidrata creando un pelo brillante y una piel refrescante. Una fresca fragrancia floral con notas de agua de flor de naranjo, rosas y acentos de perfume salvaje. La fina bruma envuelve el cabello y la piel en una sensación refrescante y la mantiene deliciosamente hidratados. Ingredientes como la jojoba organica mantienen el cabello brillante, dando a la piel y al cabello suavidad y lustre". En mi opinión este producto es perfecto para llevarlo en el bolso, huele super bien y mi piel la noto más fresca después de aplicarlo. Mis únicos contras son 1) que el olor no dura mucho (ni una hora!) tienes que continuar poniendotelo todo el día, pero claro no nos podemos olvidar que no se trata de un perfume si de un spray de cuerpo, así que la duración no puede ser muy larga, y 2) tiene alcohol en la lista de ingredientes, asi que yo lo usaré en mi pelo + hubiera sido un producto ideal para verano para llevar a la playa, pero claro si hubiese sido sin alcohol!
