DIY Chalkboard Manicure

Well here are the results!! What do you think? I'm pretty happy with it! :) So I guess in the end I won't have to buy the Ciate chalkboard mani kit ;). 
This chalk look its very easy to achieve with 2 basic products that you might already have in your stash: black nail polish & a matte top coat.
Here is what I've used:

Base color:
-Bourjois So Laque! Noir de chine
- Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Himalayan Blue
"Chalk" color for designs:
- Nails Inc Nothing hill gate
- Konad Special Nail polish White, Black and Yellow
Top coat:
Rimmel Matte Finish Top Coat
You will also need a little brush for the designs, I've used a cheap eyeliner brush here  Hope you like them!

DIY Manicura Pizarra


Bueno pues aquí está el resultado!! Que os parece? Yo estoy super contenta conforme han quedado! :). Así que al final supongo que no hace falta que me compre el kit de Ciate de la manicura pizarra ;). 
Este look tiza/ pizarra es muy facil de conseguir sólo necesitas dos productos básicos que puede que incluso ya los tengas en tu colección: esmalte de color negro & una top coat con efecto mate.

Lo que yo he utilizado:
Color Base:
-Bourjois So Laque! Noir de chine
- Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Himalayan Blue
Color de la "tiza" para los diseños::
- Nails Inc Nothing hill gate
- Konad Special Nail polish Blanco, Negro y Amarillo
Top coat:
- Rimmel Matte Finish Top Coat
Necesitarás también un pequeño pincel para pintar la diseños yo he utilizado una brocha barata de eyeliner.

Ciate Chalkboard Manicure

A kit to turn your nails into chalkboard-style fashion statements. 

How it works? First apply a coat of the black Matte polish, then release your inner child and doodle with your choice of Chalk Pen on top the black coat for a cute classroom look. The Chalk Pens have been cleverly formulated as water-soluble, allowing water to wash them away. The Mattnificent top coat seals the chalk onto the nail.

This kit is in my whishlist, i was planning to buy it in sephora next week when i'm in NYC, but i've been thinking in the last couple of days that it could be very easy to make a DIY version of this kit, i'm gonna try and do it this weekend and i'll show you the results! :) if they are good i won't bother buying this kit, it Will save me $25 ;)

Ciate Manicura Pizarra

Un kit que transforma tus uñas estilo Pizarra como fashion statements.
Cómo funciona? Primero se aplica una capa de color negro mate, luego deja al niño que llevas dentro garabatear con tu elección de boli-tiza encima del negro, para un acabo muy mono look colegiala. Los boli-tiza han sido formulados solubles al agua, asi que si te equivocas es muy fàcil de corregir. La top coat Matificante ayudará a sellar la tiza en la uña. Este kit es parte de mi whislist, y estaba planeando conprarlo la semana que viene en Sephora (ya que estaré en NYC), pero en estos últimos días he estado pensando que podría ser bastante fácil hacer una versión DIY de este kit. Así que voy ha probar este fin de semana y a ver que sale! Os enseñaré los resultados a ver que os parece ;) y si son buenos me parece que pasaré de comprar el kit y así me ahorro $25 ;)

And Grasse is not only where the perfumer in this case is from but also it's considered the world's capital of perfume. There are 4 different scents to choose from:

Jasmin & Bergamote: a sensual and luminous union between jazmín from Grasse and bergamot from Italy.

Magnolia & Mûre: a mysterious and charming union between magnolia from the Far East and blackberry from the South of France.

Vanille & Narcisse: a radiant and voluptuous embrace between vanilla from Madagascar and narcissus from France.

Thé Vert & Bigarade: a refreshing union between the aromatic green tea and the zesty bitter orange(unisex).

You can get them separately as full size perfum bottles or you can get this handy sampler set that contains the four of them in minituare bottles, perfect for traveling and to try and test the 4 different ones in case you're not sure wich one to pick! I think is also perfect for gifting! (I actually got this set as a gift for my birthday last week and I was very happy to get it! :) I love L'Occitane products I've always used their hand cream, shower gels.. But have never try any of their perfums, so this was my perfect starter pack! ;) My favourites from this collection Jazmín & Bergamote and Vanille & Narcisse. I think this set is around £28.

(De hecho este set me lo regalaron la semana pasada por mi cumpleaños, y estoy encantada! :) Me encantan los productos de L'Occitane, siempre había usado sus creams de manos, gel de ducha..., pero nunca había probado ninguno de sus perfumes, así que ha sido una manera perfecta de empezar a conocerlos! ;). Mis favoritos en ésta colección son: Jazmín & Bergamote y Vanille & Narciso. Creo que este set cuesta unos £28.

Glossybox May: The Birthday Edition

Finally my Glossybox is here!! And the wait was totally worth it!! So far the best Glossybox I got. I was kind of expecting/hoping for a really nice box since it was the Birthday Edition and I wasn't dissapointed. The only think that I wasn't too impressed was with the actual box, being the Bithday and all i was expecting a more festive design, no just their regular pink box. Anyway let's start with the inside of the box, wich is what really matters here ;). This is what I've received:

Glossybox Mayo 2013: Edición Aniversario

Por fín llegó mi Glossybox!! Y la espera ha valido la pena!! De momento la mejor Glossybox que he recibido. Estaba esperando/deseando una buena caja ya que se trataba de la Edición Aniversario, y tengo que decir que no me han decepcionado. El único aspecto que no me impresionó mucho fue la propia caja, siendo el Aniversario y todo, esperaba un diseño más festivo, o al memos diferente no simplemente la cajita rosa de siempre... Bueno, de todas formas a lo que vamos, el contenido de la cajita que es lo que nos interesa ;). Esto es lo que he recibido:

Just spotted these lovely iPhone 5 covers in Penneys/ Primark, my favourite? the pink ice cream One :) Prices are €3 and €5. I'm gonna have to buy a few :) do you like them?
Acabo de descubrir estas fundas para IPhone 5 tan chulas en Primark, mi favorita? la rosa con el cucurucho :), los precios son entre 3€ y 5€. Voy a tener que comprar unas cuantas :) que os parecen?

Sephora Sun Safety Kit 2013

I wish there was a sephora in ireland! Or at least if u could buy online from them and get it delivered to Dublin! They have such great sets & brands you can't not get here! 

At the moment i'm in love with this Sun safety Kit, it's full of little goodies for the summer, 14 deluxe sample sizes of sun-protection products, two self-tanners, a primer, and bronzing powder, all in a reusable cosmetic bag. Perfect for holidays! And it's only $30 (with a $210 value) best of it $20 of every purchase goes to the Skin Cancer Foundation. I'm in NYC next week! So i'm hoping they will still have some left, apparently they sell like hotcakes!

Ojalá hubiera un Sephora en Irlanda! O al menos si se pudiese comprar online y hacer el envio a Dublin! Siempre tienen unes sets & marcas súper interesantes que aquí no se pueden conseguir! 

Ahora mismo estoy enamorada de este Sun safety Kit (kit de seguridad para el sol) esta lleno de productos para este verano, 14 productos de protección solar de tamaño de prueba, 2 auto bronceadores, un primer y unos polvos solares. Perfecto para vacaciones! Y vale solo $30 (con un valor $210 ) lo mejor es que $20 de cada compra va a parar  Skin Cancer Foundation (Fundación Cáncer de Piel). Estaré en Nueva York la semana que viene! Así que espero que todavía haya alguno de estos kits cuando yo vaya! Parece ser que se venden como rosquillas!

Paul & Joe Vintage Inspired Lipstick Case

This is another pretty lipstick case from Paul & Joe. This one is made from plastic not like the other 3 that i have that are made with paper. It's pink and cream with some details in gold like the P & J logo on the top of the lid. It's really nice and classy looking and it also has a really nice vintage feeling. I bought mine from Beautybay.com for £6. Once you have your case all you need is to pick a pretty shade of lipstick refill to go in. The one i've picked for my case is shade 305 La Vie en Rose, a beautiful fucshia :)

Birthday Cupcakes!!

I love cupcakes! They are so cute and pretty!! And sooo yummy ;)
These are some of my birthday cupcakes, I much prefer having a few of these rather then the old regular boring cake. Plus you get to choose all kind of different  flavours! These are blueberry, strawberry & vanilla, coconut and lemon! Can't wait to eat them all!

New Primark Makeup: Baked Eyeshadows

Today I have some pictures and swatches from the new makeup line from Primark. I was showing you yesterday the two new blushes they have and today I have the eyeshadows. They are called Baked Eyeshadows, they are duos and at the moment you can only get them in a silver/ black or beige/ brown color. They are €1.50 each, and again the packaging and the look of this eyeshadows are much better than they used to... thinking MAC again...

Hoy tengo algunas fotos y swatches de la nueva linea de maquillaje de Primark. Ayer os enseñé sus dos coloretes nuevos y hoy tengo las sombras de ojos para enseñaros. Se llaman Baked Eyeshadows, son duos y por el momento sólo se pueden conseguir en dos tonos plata/ negro y beige/ marrón. Valen €1.50 cada uno, y como con los coloretes el packaging y el look general de estas sombras está muchísimo mejor que antes... Pensando en MAC otra vez...

New Primark Makeup: Blushers

I was in Penneys today and saw they had pimped out all their makeup collection, with a lot nicer packaging (similar to MAC...), still not much choice regarding to shades, i wonder will they be adding more colors to the collection. Today in the store i was, they only had 2 different color blushes (with no name on them, i really hate when thinks don't have name!) and 2 different eyeshadows. Today i'm gonna show you some Pictures and swatches of the blushes, one is a lovely Barbie pink and the other one is some sort of coppery bronze. I was very impressed with the pigmentation on both, for the price you pay €3, it's a really good value. So if you are looking for some new blushes but don't want to spend a fortune i'd give them a try! ;)

Nuevo Maquillaje de Primark: Coloretes

Hoy he ido a un Primark y he visto que tenian una nueva colección de productos de maquillaje, con una imagen nueva y mucho más atractiva que la anterior (le da un aire parecido al packaging de MAC...), pero la gama de tonos a elegir sigue siendo super pequeña, me pregunto si irán añadiendo más colores a esta colección nueva. De momento, en la tienda que he estado hoy sólo tiene dos colores diferentes de colorete (no tienen ningún nombre para diferenciarlos, no me gusta nada cuando las cosas no tienen nombre!), y otros dos de sombras de ojos. Hoy os voy a enseñar algunas fotos y swatches de los coloretes, uno es un rosa Barbie muy chulo y el otro es un tono bronce. La verdad, me ha impresionado mucho la pigmentación de estos coloretes, para el precio que tienen €3 son una buena ganga. Así que si quieres probar o buscas unos coloretes nuevos pero no quieres gastarte una fortuna, yo les daría una oportunidad y los probaría! ;)

Paul & Joe Lipstick Refills: 304 Rouge

Paul & Joe Lipstick Refills are designed for Paul & Joe's  Lipstick cases. There are 3 different finishes to choose from: sheer, natural or full coverage . They are enriched with Orange Flower Water and White Lily Extract for healthy, hydrated lips. They are super creamy, and it feels very nice when i have it on. This one is shade number 304 Rouge, it's a pretty red with a very nice red shimmer going through (like a very fine red microglitter, you can't feel it on your lips, but when the light hits on your lips WOW! Gorgeous! It's full coverage, it goes opaque with one application and it lasts about 4h! :). It's described as the truest red that absolutely oozes sex appeal. I bought mine from ASOS, the price is £12.

Paul & Joe Lipstick Refills (recambios de pintalabios) están diseñados para Paul & Joe's  Lipstick cases. Existen 3 acabados diferentes para elegir: sheer (transparente/brillo), natural (media cobertura) o full coverage (máxima cobertura).Están enriquecids con agua de flor de naranja y extracto de lilium blanco para unos labios saludables e hidratados. Es super cremoso y es muy agradable de llevar. Este es el tono 304 Rouge, es un tono rojo muy bonito con destellos rojos (Como microglitter super fina, no la notas en los labios, pero cuando le da la luz Guau! Precioso!). Es de máxima cobertura y es descrito por Paul & Joe como el rojo más auténtico que grita sex appeal. El mio lo compré en ASOS y el precio fueron £12.Todas las fotos son con luz natural.

This is 1 coat of better than gel nails base, 2 coats of Can't find my Czechbook & 3 coats of  OY- Another polish joke. Then i've stamped the peacock design from the Bundle monster image plate BM-212 with Konad special nail polish in black, and filled in with little dots the design. To finish 1 coat of better than gel nails top coat.

Esto es una  1 capa de Better than gel nails base, 2 capas de Can't find my Czechbook & 3 capas de Oy- Another polish joke. Luego he estampado el diseño del Pavo real de la placa de imagen de Bundle Monster BM-212 con el Konad Special Nail Polish en negro, he rellenado con puntitos el diseño. Y para terminar 1 capa de Better than gel nails top coat.
